MY FILM SCORE PORTFOLIO

Feel free to have a look (listen) at a selection of my past creations.

"NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN"

This re-score was the final assignment from a film scoring class that I took in Berklee Online. My idea for the score was minimalism, guitar sounds, and some sound design. The first time I watched the scene "dry" I was really immersed in it despite there being no music. And in a way, I wanted to express that in the score. I wanted to produce a minimalistic score with some sound design and synths to accompany it.

"THE KISSING BOOTH 2"

This re-score was another assignment from the same class. My idea for the score was minimalism and piano sounds. When composing for an underscore, one must be mindful of the tone, each pauses, the speed, and the emotional changes of the conversation. One must also be careful of their music taking the lead in the scene.

"SPRITE FRIGHT"

Another animation rescore that was an entry for a contest. An orchestrated score filled with the jam pack tension and excitement that this short film displays.

"SPRING"

I really enjoyed this re-scoring of the Blender Studio animation "Spring". It was one of the earliest "ambitious" scores I ever did. Fully orchestrated, hitting all the hit points, full of emotion, tension, and excitement. I wanted this project to be an example of the kind of styles I want to master as I move forward as a composer.
